The Oregon coast is magestic: Pacific Ocean, warm sand, hilly climbs, beach towns, rocky formations, temperate weather, surfers, and miles and miles to drive on Hwy 101. Part of our summer vacation in June was spent touring the northwest coast, not too far from our own beach cabin along the Willapa Bay in Washington state. As Seattle tempts reached for the 90sF, we rolled along the coast with windows down in lovely 72F enjoying salty breezes. The landscape is a photographer's dream. Here's to a happpy start to summer!
